Murgir Dim
Murgir Dim is a Bangladesh-based small business specializing in stationery and lifestyle products, including notebooks, stickers, bandanas, and artbooks. Established in 2024 in Dhaka, the brand primarily targets Gen Z consumers with a focus on minimalist design and expressive visual elements.
History
Murgir Dim was founded in 2024 by Bankiim Khan and Ahmad Hasan with the intention of building a small-scale business centered on custom-designed stickers and notebooks. The initial production included approximately 4,000 stickers and 200 notebooks (100 A5 and 100 A6, 120 GSM paper).
The business made its first sales through a physical stall at a Harry Potter–themed festival organized at BRAC University. This event served as its initial market entry and validation of demand among university students. The initial notebook inventory sold out within approximately two months of launch.

Sub-brands and Naming
The term "Dimbook" is used as a naming convention for the notebook product line. It functions as a sub-brand identifier rather than a separate entity.
Challenges
The primary constraint on growth is operational capacity, as the founders manage the business alongside academic commitments. No major structural operational or marketing challenges have been formally identified.
Future Plans
The founders aim to expand product offerings and develop additional sub-brands while maintaining alignment with minimalist design principles. Long-term ambitions include scaling the business into a broader multi-industry brand.
